CK Power is expanding into the Kansas City area, opening a 15,000-square-foot office in Overland Park.
The office at 9131 Bond St. eventually will contain sales, distribution, service and light production operations. It opened at the beginning of September and currently has five employees, though the company plans to hire more people soon.
CK Power distributes industrial and home standby generators.
“We are thrilled at the prospect of expanding our presence in the Kansas City region,” CK Power CEO John Costello said in a release. “We’re creating a number of job opportunities for the area and at the same time, we’re broadening our ability to serve both new and existing clients.”
CK Power also will use its new Kansas City office to distribute John Deere engines, Volvo Penta marine engines, Kubota generators, Wisconsin engines and other products.
